Friendly staff , open atmosphere, beach front view on the board walk
My new go to for a pitcher of Erdinger and some people watching.
This was my first stop on the Venice Beach Boardwalk and I stopped in for a beer. Great waiter and good variety on the menu.
Fish tacos and tequila tasting! Great view, indoor and out door seating. Had a great waiter walk us through the different tequilas
Love the place. The view is amazing. Even better when Peace Frog is playing!
Best Service in Town, excellent food, great view on the boardwalk enjoy the sunset and people watch.Bartenders & Servers are very attention to detail and attentive.Stop by and enjoy what Venice Beach is all about.Happy Travels & Cheers 🧜♀️
Tacos are great! And there’s a really good atmosphere! I recommend the Al Pastor taco, really really good!
Pretty nice bar and restaurant at the lively Venice beach of Los Angeles. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available with casual decoration, good variety of beers and food is served. We have also watched a live music band, a pretty nice one.
Amazing place. Great view of the ocean from the first floor. Tasty food and great deals during the happy hours.
Great little bar. Bartenders were all friendly and the band was great!
Lovely service, tasty food but some what small portions, across the beach with a refreshing view and constantly has a singer in front of the bar with live music! Enjoyable atmosphere!
I went to go see tthe 'Bleeding Deacon:%%'s, w/ my boo. Good, fun, show! The venue was kind of small.' But, the establishment utilized the space well. It was comfortable, food was good, and the staff was friendly enough. Even the burly, biker looking "door man ," was kool! Looking forward to going back.
Great view and great beer. The food is a bit bland, but we can't have everything.
I get to eat here a lot since I work nearby. I have to say the customer service is always good and they keep the spot well kept all the time. Pricing is fair and they serve big portions.
To busy, but right on the strand, lots of homeless around but good vibe
Probably the best happy hour in all of Venice. $5 fried pickles, nachos , mozz sticks, AND beer/cocktails! Beautiful spot to kick back and watch the sunset. Primetime place to people watch as well! You will not be dissapointed! I highly recommend grabbing a table and some food/drinks and watching the sunset!
Staff were nice, didn't think much of the nachos though and cocktails wernt that nice either. Gave it 4 because of location and how nice the staff were
Zack was amazing. He greeted us got our order and kept the drinks coming. Visiting from Montana! Definitely a “must visit”! Very happy!
Great location ... however, service could be better. Also, I couldn't stand the amount of flies flying around. It was quite annoying 😪
Go upstairs and enjoy the sea the crow moving on the longest colorful walk of the west coast
I went pro in dive bars when I lost me first tooth. The bar is approved until the end of the universe (that's more than 5 stars)
Enjoyed the view for a remote work afternoon from their upstairs room. It was fantastic! Great food, drinks, and staff! The view and breeze amazing!
Great service, excellent people watching, delicious food.
I thought this place was pretty nice! Nice people, nice view, lots of screens. The brussel sprout salad was a nice healthy offering. The 5 wings for $8 was a bit light (was expecting 6-8) but all and all nice place nice staff, will go back.
One of the most relaxing and fun places on the beach love it
Good ole bar fun, nothing special no frills boardwalk sunset happy hour beachbum bar. Lots of local boozehounds and pretty good happy hour, snacks fried food Bonanza but I will keep coming here cause it's pure Venice.. and happy hour sunsets
Great food, local vibe.
Only had drinks here and they weren't even drinkable. The coconut drink tasted like something too inappropriate for Google reviews to handle. Never again.
I have been coming to this place since about 3 years ago! Always great vibes and lovely staff! Friendly vibrant atmosphere!
Food and service were good. We grab a quick bite and a drink at the bar. They give specials to the bike bar groups they come in.
The Venice Beach Bar is awesome! I like the fact that I can sit and eat pretty much right on the boardwalk. The service here is excellent!
Great food and the waiter was really nice and was able to make good drink recommendations. The location and view were great as well (especially for people watching).
By far the best tacos I have ever had! The homemade tortillas are amazing, which lend themselves to be the best chips for their chips and guac. I would go way out of my way to come here over any other "waterfront" spot.
Nice view good drinks
Nice place to have a beer and some good food. Happy hour prices are great.
I went to see an acquaintance of mine perform at Venice Beach Bar this past summer. Even in the moments when it got crowded, it was still a fun experience. I drank a vodka and Red Bull for the first time at this establishment, and it seems to offer an assortment of food appetizers in addition to alcohol. Outside from the bar and the tables on the first floor, there is also seating available upstairs and outside. Then, of course, there is live entertainment that happens often on the stage near the back. Come check it out for yourself!
Everyone in my group knew what they wanted except me. The waitress said she would come back to take my order. I understand that part perfectly well, but, she came back and never asked me if I wanted something, and it was difficult to get her attention. Finally after she had come back several times, she finally paid attention to me and got my drink order. For a party of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids, the 18% tip was already charged, so there was no room to leave a smaller tip, such as 15%, very small difference, I know. The nachos we ordered were great.
Great little bar in the middle of the action. Always a band on the boardwalk playing in front...good people watching location with a decent happy hour...or freaks watching the freaks.
Great spot for beach and music people watching and who also have weekday happy hours past 6pm. Few beer, wine, and well drink and then food options on happy hour all for $5 which went great so got some delicious fried pickles and then fairly decent nachos. As for table service, they were definitely present and asked at least 4 times if we needed anything, which we can't say much against other than 1-2 times total could have sufficed if it looked like we were out of drinks and stuff instead.
Good place and great ambience, waiters were friendly, definitely recommended.
It lost its appeal for me when the doormen catcalled me when I was walking alone. I prefer not being called "that" or overhearing what random men would like to do to me. Go somewhere the staff will respect you; there's hundreds of great nights out on Hollywood Boulevard.
This place was great! Highly recommend it. Tons of locals. I sat for an hour hanging with folks and chatting. Only downside, I never once had a waiter approach! But it was a great place to hang out and share a beer.
I just stopped for a sandwich and a couple of beers. Lovely staff. Great food and drink
Fish tacos were awesome. Wasn't crowded. Kind of nice, good drinks, good food, nice vibes. The fish tacos were fantastic, and I would highly recommend.
great views and happy hour.
On a train trip to Hollywood we stopped by this tiny bar by the Pantages Theater. Had a couple of great Old Fashioneds and chatted with a few regulars while watching some football on TV. Fun place to have a drink while visiting Hollywood. Next time we are in Hollywood we will stop by again!
Bit rowdy.. good beers food not so good.
Place closed the door as we were walking up, hours were open. Vibe not the place to be
Nice place with oceans view. I like it
I am order a "Erdinger Hefeweizen". That is originally copyright by a german beer with exactly the same name. But is NOT a real brand beer called "Erdinger Hefeweizen" with zero Hefeweizen. It is maybe a IPA and they bring it with a lemon!? Why that!? I am from Germany and ask that maybe they make a mistake by the order. They are very unfriendly and later a group of the visitor and/or employees or both make jokes very loud about Germans. Why that!? I dont understand this untypical Customer unsatisfaction way of working...
